Types of Fences We Offer

As a premier fence contractor in La Jolla, we offer a variety of fencing options to suit your home's style and functional needs:

1. Wood Fences

Wood is a classic choice for residential fence construction. It offers a natural, timeless look that can be customized with different finishes, stains, and styles. Whether you're looking for a traditional picket fence or a taller privacy fence, we can design and build the perfect wood fence for your property. Our wood fences are built to last, using high-quality, weather-resistant materials.

2. Vinyl Fences

Vinyl fences are a popular option for homeowners who want a durable and low-maintenance solution. Vinyl is resistant to rot, pests, and weather damage, making it a great choice for La Jolla’s coastal climate. We offer a range of vinyl fence styles, from privacy fences to decorative options, that can be customized to fit your home’s aesthetic.

3. Metal Fences

For those looking for security and longevity, metal fences are an excellent choice. We offer aluminum and wrought iron fencing options that are both stylish and secure. Metal fences can be used to enclose yards, gardens, or even pools, providing safety without compromising on style. Our fence builders ensure that your metal fence is both sturdy and elegant.

4. Composite Fences

Composite fencing is a modern, eco-friendly alternative to wood and vinyl. Made from a combination of wood fibers and recycled plastic, composite fences offer the look of wood without the maintenance. These fences are resistant to fading, cracking, and warping, making them a long-lasting choice for any homeowner.

5. Chain Link Fences

If you’re looking for a cost-effective and functional fencing solution, chain link fences are a great option. They provide security and visibility, making them ideal for enclosing larger areas like backyards, playgrounds, or sports fields. Our chain link fences are available in a variety of heights and finishes to meet your needs.

Fence Replacement Services

In addition to new fence installations, we also offer fence replacement services for homeowners in La Jolla and the surrounding areas. If your existing fence is damaged, worn, or outdated, our team can help you replace it with a brand-new fence that enhances your property’s value and appearance. We handle everything from removing the old fence to installing the new one, ensuring a seamless transition.

Solar system was installed in 2022, and it worked flawlessly without any problems. But last week, I called Precision Contractors to report 2 issues with my solar system. The 1st issue, the app “Enlighten” was no longer working properly and was not giving me any reports to the phone app. I tried to get the system back online myself but could not get it to connect. So I called the office and within minutes, Carly returned my call. She mentioned, that my message was forwarded to Chris, the project manager, and that he would contact me within couple hours. In less than 1 hour, Chris came over, and after explaining to him the problem, Chris was successful getting my system back online and relaying reports back to the app. Chris was incredibly knowledgable, and very patient to answer all my questions. The 2nd issue, was that the app was reporting 8 panels, but I had 12 panels installed on the roof. Chris was not able to tell me why it was reporting 8 instead of 12, but told me he would further investigate when he returned to the office. Chris returned message promptly and informed me that all 12 panels are now back online and are displaying correctly in the app. Chris, Thank you for the follow up and quick response. Super great job!

I first met them at their booth from the boat races and I was interested in solar and didn’t know too much about the savings. Scheduled a meeting with Precision and they came out and quoted me a price. I work in the industry of construction so I would know if they were pulling a fast one, however all their pricing to me was fair. I knew at that moment they could be trusted. Precision then did all the heavy lifting and scheduling where I did not need to be included too much. They had a great team and were very accommodating. One thing is just make sure everyone is on the same page with design so thereare no secrets and if you want to change they are more then willing to do it if it is possible.

We recently had Precision paint the exterior of our house, replace the rain gutters, and remove a large stucco planter box. Everyone we encountered during the process was friendly and took pride in their work. In addition to enjoying the final result of the experience, we especially appreciate the availability, follow up, and follow through of our project manager Eric Martineau and the personal attention and communication from the office manager Carly Campbell.

We had a fantastic experience with Precision General Contracting. They installed a Trex deck, Hardie siding, and Belgard pavers at our home in Lakeside and everything turned out great. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really show in the finished project. Our production manager, Eric, was fantastic throughout the entire process. He was professional, communicative, and made sure everything stayed on track. Carly in the office was also amazing—super helpful, organized, and always quick to respond whenever we had questions. Overall we’re extremely happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend Precision General Contracting to anyone looking for quality work and a professional team.

Precision General Contracting did a phenomenal job for us. We had a very complex wall/fence that was a challenge since there was such an elevation difference between us and our neighbors. The firm handled those complexities exceptionally well and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Their workers were always professional, friendly and talented! Will use Precision General Contracting again for sure!

Precision General contracting did an amazing job with a very unique plan we had for a large backyard deck and cement patio beneath it. This was a challenging job due to the slope in our yard and access to the yard. Precision General got the job done! They consistently communicated with us throughout the project and any time we had questions they responded immediately. Most importantly they showed up every day! They did an amazing job and we now have a beautiful deck and patio we enjoy everyday! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Precision General and highly recommend them for any construction job you may have!

I hired Precision to take on my roof repair, add solar and batteries in Encinitas, CA, based on a coworker recommendation. They were fantastic from the quoting process, answering all my questions, were reasonably well-priced, and offered financing via Wheelhouse Credit Union. The roofing and installation was fast and great communication throughout. I had some follow-up questions and needed some minor support, but they were so friendly and responsive each time. I highly recommend this company.
